Forgive me if I Ramble

Now this was a good weekend. It didn’t really start out that way but it did end on a good note. I had made plans to go out with a new girl on Friday. Now it wasn’t a blind date but we had met online. We had had coffee a couple of days before just too kind of get a few of each other. OH man was I happy with this sexy woman from the net. We had talked for a while and traded Im’s back and forth for a few days so it was clear she was interested. Now we get to the big day and I will admit I am excited. Hell if I worked it right I might even be getting laid tonight. Yes I know I am a pig but damn even pigs need to get a little something. Now that was the plan lets just say the plan didn’t work out like it was suppose too. She had to cancel because her son was sick. I have to admit I though she was flaking out but it was true her son was sick. We talk on Sat and at first we were just going to meet up for a coffee again but since she had plans that night we made it for Sunday. Go get some lunch and to go the beach. Ok I can get behind this and enjoy the view to say the least. So I get a phone call Sat night while she is on this out with her friends. Ok this is kind of a good sign that she is into me. I didn’t pick up the call and talk to her. And no I am not playing a game. I just happened to be asleep seems Saturday I drank too much beer and my eyes closed down for the night early. I did text her in the morning to ask what time we were meeting and where we were going to meet up at. But I didn’t hear anything back for a while. Then it comes she send me an Im saying she lost her phone last night and needed my number to call me. It seems that she went out and got really drunk and lost her cell. The one with all the numbers in it. At this point I am thinking that she is going to cancel again but I was wrong. She tells me to meet up right at the place where her night started. That’s cool with me since it just so happened to be right down the street from my place. I get there and right as I am getting out of my car she is pulling up. Oh damn what timing. We make the rounds asking if anyone has found her phone. I know we aren’t going to find it just from the simple fact that it’s one of those pink Razor phones. Oh yea someone has given their girlfriends a brand new phone. After we looked and didn’t find anything we went down to the beach where we had lunch and just talked. It was just good to sit and talk and have a good convo with someone. We kissed at the end of the date and I can’t wait to do that again. Hell it’s been a while since I have had a good date. I can get use to this.
