Damn it I can't believe this.

So I have been wanted to sit here and write about my vacation and how great it was. Or even about how things have been with my new girlfriend. For some reason one thing or another has gotten in the way. But something happened last night that just kind of pissed me off. I am walking down the street from my girls place. Next thing I know some random guy is yelling out of his car. “You’re not wanted here, go back to Compton you fucking Nigger”. I stopped and looked up just to see if I heard this idiot correctly. Now the area that my girlfriend lives in is a very upscale family area. It’s in a beach community called Huntington Beach. This is an area of town that is mostly surfers or upper middle class families. Before I moved to my present apartment in Newport Beach I use to live in Huntington and to tell you the truth I never had a problem. I am a very easy going guy that makes friends for the most part with anyone really. You know I am not even pissed off about what the guy said really. It’s more of how I reacted that has me more upset. I felt like I wanted to just get really violent. I felt that this coward that couldn’t even say these things to my face needed be punched in the face. It’s a strange feeling for me. This is something that at this point in history I though we might be pass things like this. Hell we have a black man running for president right now. Yet I can’t walk from the store to my girlfriend’s apartment without being accosted. Oh what a country we live in.
